Faith Words: Forever
Psalm 118:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. It comforts me to know God is eternal, that His mercy endures forever. I can never outlive His love and mercy. Our world is harsh. It’s mean. Sometimes I feel it crushing me, smothering me with hopelessness. But then I remember: my God is good. His goodness is able to overcome the evil. And while evil may seem to triumph, it doesn’t. Only God and those who are His triumph. Take heart! Our God endures forever. Our God’s goodness endures forever. Our God’s mercy endures forever.
