Faith Words: Praise Him

2022 is going to be a great year.  How do I know?  I know because my Redeemer lives, because God is good, because He cares for me. 

I don’t know exactly what 2022 will bring but my response will be the same whatever comes my way. I will praise Him.

May God bless you this year in every way out of His abundant love for you.

Change - It's constant.  Some change I like.  Some I don't.  Change takes work.  But I need changing.  I certainly don't want to stay like I am forever.  A couple of weeks ago, we sang a song during worship that goes:  "Ancient words ever true, changing me and changing you."  That's the kind of change I need - the change only that God's Word can make in my heart. Faith Words: January 1, 2012 - A New Beginning

A new beginning - how many times have I asked God for a new beginning?  What will I do with this new year?  Will I set goals, make plans to do things I've put off doing in years past?  How can I be sure I'll follow through this year? I've decided to make this year different.  Oh, sure, I'll continue to set goals and make plans, but this year, I want to be more intentional about making the most of each day the Lord gives me.  With God's help, I want to live in today.
