Rejoice!

January 1, 2020.

Christmas may be behind us but the Gift keeps giving. Every day, every year is a gift from God. Every moment, every breath is His Spirit renewing us.

New!  What a beautiful word!  New!  It offers hope and healing, forgiveness and freedom, redemption and restoration. New!

I pray we all feel the newness God gives us through His Son Jesus Christ. Breathe in. Breathe out. Feel the Holy Spirit fill you.

Start this year in the joy of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Start this year new!

Rejoicing!

Faith Words: Here Again

I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to write again. Without John, I feel hollow and empty, so there were no words to write. But I think I’m ready now.  I started sharing my thoughts and verses to encourage others to memorize God’s word. God’s word is the foundation of our faith, so it seemed to me that writing His word on our hearts was good and would help us stay strong and remain faithful. I still believe that.  I also believe that sharing our faith and sharing the scriptures God writes on our hearts does more than encourage us individually. I believe this sharing builds up our bonds of love: the bonds that strengthen us no matter how many miles lie between us, the bonds that speak encouragement over us when we’re beaten down by life, the bonds that bring us joy when we remind each other of God’s promises.  So let’s do this again.
