Faith Words: Here Again

I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to write again. Without John, I feel hollow and empty, so there were no words to write. But I think I’m ready now.

I started sharing my thoughts and verses to encourage others to memorize God’s word. God’s word is the foundation of our faith, so it seemed to me that writing His word on our hearts was good and would help us stay strong and remain faithful. I still believe that.

I also believe that sharing our faith and sharing the scriptures God writes on our hearts does more than encourage us individually. I believe this sharing builds up our bonds of love: the bonds that strengthen us no matter how many miles lie between us, the bonds that speak encouragement over us when we’re beaten down by life, the bonds that bring us joy when we remind each other of God’s promises.

So let’s do this again. I’m here again and God’s word is still here. Again.

Love,

Patrice

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.
